Positioning physical activity and sport in a child-friendly manner
This chapter had two main purposes. First, this chapter discussed what constituted positive experiences, with a specific focus placed on what this looks like for children. Second, the available evidence was reflected upon and a judgement made of what is actually known about what children consider led to them experiencing physical activity and sports in a positive manner. The aim here was to offer a more critical take on the research evidence than has previously been afforded.
