ABSTRACT
With the publication of the Histoire générale des royaumes de Chypre, Jérusalem, d’Arménie et d’Egypte in Leiden (1747), Dominique Jauna offered an original historical work to the readers of the Enlightenment. Condemned by positivist history and forgotten by modern historiography, Jauna’s work still merits the attention of historians.
