ABSTRACT
As mentioned in the previous section, the approach which is followed in this text, is to obtain the reals through axiomatic means. Those axioms follow. It is interesting to note that in a certain sense there is only one complete ordered field. It is the field E1 of real numbers no matter how that field is obtained, whether by axioms or by Dedekind cuts.
