ABSTRACT
This chapter updates and reviews topics related to copyright law and discusses the implications of major recent court cases and their implications upon the distance education field. Ownership issues, damage remission, provisions of fair use, and an extensive listing of contemporary cases are noted. The authors conclude with a look to the future of copyright in the distance education classroom.
