ABSTRACT
Chapter 13 considers the more commonly occurring legal issues related to big data, focusing on those relevant to its use. Issues are approached irrespective of jurisdiction, from a more general perspective, with the understanding that each country (and in some cases each state or territory within each country) has its own specific laws. Intellectual property, privacy, security, and contractual obligations are covered.
