ABSTRACT

The aim of the chapter is to provide practitioners with a systematic framework for reflecting on values education. The chapter discusses how values related to care, discipline, and democracy can be related to pedagogical aims and goals, content, and educational principles. The authors introduce a Dynamic Situational Didactics model (Broström, 2015) as a framework for reflecting on values education curricula and practice, and they use practical examples inspired by the ValuEd data to illustrate key points.
