Section 7.4, we present a brief overview of the homeland security applications of biometrics in other countries. In Section 7.5, we introduce new trends in homeland security. Section 7.6 presents a condensed timeline of biometrics in homeland security around the world. Concluding remarks appear in Section 7.7.
