ABSTRACT
The corneal endothelium is an important organ for visual clarity and plays a critical role in transparency and functions. The tissue-engineered corneal endothelium is considered as a potential alternative in order to solve the limited donor cornea problem worldwide. In this chapter, we discuss the basic concepts of corneal endothelium regeneration.
