ABSTRACT
68In this chapter, we discuss the recent as well as significant developments in the synthesis of ionic liquid (IL) mediated nanoparticles (NPs). Apart from that, we also discuss a small background of IL considering types, properties, and effect of IL’s counterparts on NPs synthesis. There are promising consequences proposing that the IL route can lead the design and fabrication of NPs through the variety of size, nature, configuration, and functionality. All discussed examples in this chapter clearly depicted that ILs, add great value to the area of NP synthesis.
