ABSTRACT

138The evaluation of reversible MB plow under the actual field conditions is the only way of recognizing the quality and output. It can also help govt. agencies to control the undeserving units, improve the deficiencies in existing implements, standardize critical components, and save energy. During 2014-2015, a locally available three bottom 30-cm reversible MB plow was evaluated at Jalgaon (Jamod) region of Buldhana District. The results show that at average operating speed of 3.8 km/h, the average depth of cut and width of cut were 20 cm and 80 cm, respectively, and actual field capacity, theoretical field capacity, field efficiency, and fuel consumption were 0.26 ha/h, 0.34 ha/h, 76.4% and 4.61 l/h, respectively.
