ABSTRACT
Heat exchangers are of two type direct contact and indirect contact. In case of direct contact heat exchangers we can take the example of cooling towers where two fluids are in contact with each other. While in case of indirect contact heat exchangers two fluids are separated by wall medium. Example of indirect contact heat exchanger is a plate type heat exchanger [1-11]. A plate type heat exchanger or compact heat exchanger is one type of heat transfer device commonly used. It consists of various plates stacked one behind the other. These plates are the path through which heat will be transferred from the hot fluid to the cold fluid [1].
