ABSTRACT
Megacities have grown fast in the last 20 years; many of them are in developing countries, and their high population density and dependence on a complex infrastructure makes them particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. These transformations suggest a need to rethink the way they operate and adapt to their evolving environments.
