ABSTRACT
The renowned writer, thinker, and lecturer Peter Drucker said about the importance of management: “As the trees are rotten from the head and die, organizations are suffering from degradation and destruction when the managing director of that organization can’t manage it.” This statement applies to leaders of megacities. The importance of management and the strategic mind behind innovated leading initiatives become the essence of leadership as innovative management strategies enable managers to learn from previous management activities, and respond quickly and creatively to new challenges and risks.
