ABSTRACT
Biomimetic or biomimicry is the imitation of the models, systems, and elements of nature for the purpose of solving complex human problems (Wikipedia). It is the transfer of ideas from biology to technology, the design and production of materials, structures, and systems that are modeled on biological entities and processes. The process involves understanding a problem and observational capability together with the capacity to synthesize different observations into a vision for solving a problem.
