ABSTRACT

Experimental study is one of the two ways in biomedicine to obtain scientific knowledge. Accurate findings from animal experimental studies rely on proper experimental approaches, which involve the theoretical basis, design, standardization, organization, and management of animal experiments. The organization and structure of animal experiments undergo changes because of optimization by the researchers and utilization of material resources. Animal experiments are a special field that use animals to conduct a biomedical study, in which organization and management play important roles. Centralized utilization of animal experimental facilities have higher management requirements. External validity is the deduction of animal experimental results to humans. External validity of animal experimental models of chronic progressive disease is also challenged by other influencing factors. The reproducibility and reliability of animal experiments is highly dependent on standardization. Animal experiments are a special field that use animals to conduct a biomedical study, in which organization and management play important roles.
