ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Studies of serotonin function and localization in unicellular organisms, animal embryos, and plants are the subject of scientists’ attention today. Fluorescence as a parameter for observation and measurement is believed to be suitable for such analyses. Visible emission of forming products, uorescent-labeling or uorescent model cellular systems are used. In this short review some examples illustrating these possibilities have been considered, based on the work of the author.
