ABSTRACT

Recently, polymer foams with a bimodal cell structure (BMCS) have attracted a great deal of interest in industry and academia because they combine the advantages of both small cells that exhibit outstanding mechanical properties and large cells that lower bulk density [1-4]. Compared with foams with a monomodal cell structure (MMCS), foams with a BMCS have a higher degree of cellular interconnectivity, which helps to expand their applications
