ABSTRACT

Child molestation is often described as a societal taboo that causes extreme emotional upheavals with affected families. Child molestation may provoke bias within people directly or indirectly associated with child molestation situations that include intervention efforts. Child sexual abuse (CSA) situations involving very young children are among the cases that tug at a person’s heart producing anxiety and uneasiness externally and internally. Sex is perhaps the most powerful force known to man; sexual abuse of young children is perhaps the most powerful manipulator of individual emotion and reaction and a veritable threshold between right and wrong behavior in most cultures.
