ABSTRACT
The field of compressive sampling (CS) is now roughly a decade old and has enjoyed a great deal of attention and measurable success in overcoming the temporal or spatial sampling constraints in modern data acquisition devices. Many of these successes have come in the Optical Sciences in diverse application areas such as imaging, spectroscopy, and photonic links, to name a few.
