The study presents the results of analyzed data about the characteristics of different groups of pedestrians, and their relation with the use of footbridges. Results showed that the frequency of crossing the street has a positive impact on the use of the footbridge. The level of pedestrian’s education, income level and occupation have no influence on the decision of either jaywalking or crossing by the footbridge. The study suggests the well design of the footbridge that complies with the recommended standards to be suitable for the majority of pedestrians groups.
