ABSTRACT

As the power source of the hydraulic system, the fault of pump will directly affect the operation of the whole system, making it important to determine the exact cause of the fault. Since the fault is frequent and difficult to analyze, based on analyzing the symptoms and causes of common faults of plunger pump, the mathematical model of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation in fault diagnosis of plunger pump is established with the fuzzy theory. With this model, each fault symptom severity is quantified by collecting the main performance parameters and using weight coefficient function. Using fuzzy evaluation matrix transformation, the cause of plunger pump fault is determined accurately, which shows it is feasible to diagnose the faults of plunger pump with fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.
