A3 D The liver is the most common site for extralymphatic spread in Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Central nervous system disease is extremely rare, and sampling of cerebrospinal fluid is not routinely practised. Bone marrow disease is seen in 4%–14% of patients with Hodgkin’s disease and should be evaluated in all patients with the exception of those with localised disease and no systemic symptoms.
