ABSTRACT
AD is a recognized category in ICD-101 and continues to be included in DSM-5.2 In editions prior to DSM-5, adjustment disorders were classified separately as a residual catchall group; now they are under the umbrella of Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders, and thus given more coherence as a stress response disorder as in ICD-10.
