ABSTRACT
Overall, older women are less likely to be sexually active than older men. is may be in part due to the decreased likelihood of women being in a spousal or intimate relationship, oen as a result of separation or bereavement. For both sexes, sexual activity is also related to physical health. ose who rate their health as poor are less likely to be sexually active than those who rate their health as very good or even excellent (Lindau et al., 2007).
