ABSTRACT
Urolithiasis is a disorder “shared” by the urologist and the nephrologist. e role of the urologist is to extract the stone from the urinary tract and correct anatomic abnormalities of the genitourinary tract as indicated, whereas the role of the nephrologist is to identify the cause for the stone and plan a management strategy to prevent stone recurrence.
