ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION Three rare glial tumour types are grouped together in this category: astroblastoma, chordoid glioma of the third ventricle and angiocentric glioma. These entities are separated from the more common astrocytic, oligodendroglial and ependymal tumour categories because their undefined histogenesis precludes a definite assignment to any other group.
