VULVA e region of the external genital organs, known as the vulva (or pudendum), lies in front of and below the pubis (Figure 2.1). It is the term applied to the mons pubis and labia majora, and the structures that lie between the labia (i.e., labia minora, vestibule of the vagina, clitoris, bulbs of the vestibule, and greater vestibular glands).
