ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The article presents the results of an evaluation and objectification of the pavement surface of the Žilina Airport RWY according to surface irregularities on the base of stationary ergodic process theory. The longitudinal unevenness was objectified by International Roughness Index IRI and unevenness degree C. Parameter IRI is obtained using the Reference Quarter Car Simulation using 3D scanning of the RWY surface. Skid resistance of the RWY surface was evaluated using measurements by 3D scanner with high resolution.
