ABSTRACT
A simple method for appointing the shear stress between a foundation and subsoil without a sliding joint is offered in the valid Czech code (CSN 730039, 2015). Shear stress between a foundation and subsoil and consequently the normal force in a foundation structure are settled as a function of terrain horizontal deformation ε, the dimensions of the foundation structure and oedometric modulus of subsoil.
