ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The space requirements of families are constantly changing and evolving during their life cycle. Young people have lower demands on living space compared to families with children, whose demands decrease again once their children have grown. Thus the family space demands have a sinusoidal function. The possibility to modify the disposition of a living space seems there for to be the most effective. A designed model house has only 30 square meters of floor space and is growing according to family demands. The aim of this article is to design a method of assembling various stages of the house according to the family life cycle.
