ABSTRACT
This chapter is based on the author’s own experience after having investigated 11 accidents and interviewed many crewmembers after the accident. The assessment of the human factor (HF) issue is very difficult and after accidents and incidents pilots, mechanics and ATC controllers can become greatly disturbed, or sometimes the opposite is the case where they are apparently not affected at all.
