ABSTRACT

THE LADIES' EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION which has for so many years (since 1869) acted in cordialsympathywith the authorities of University College in arranging special classes for ladies taught at separate times by the same professors, is now practically dissolved, its work. being over. For some years ladies have been admitted to the ordinary classes of the College in two or three special departments, such as Logic, Political Economy, and the Fine Arts. The work of the Association was, in the outset, attended with much difficulty, and it has earned & title to the gratitude of all women by its efficient efforts,
