ABSTRACT
That the offering of University Degrees and Certificates to women answers to a real want, is evident from the large and increasing numbel's of those who .avail themselves of the opportunities thus afforded. Already the number of candidates for the St. Andrew's L.A. Degree who are entering their names for examination next June, is nearly double that on the list of $e present year,and it will doubtless be still further increased as the scheme becomes more widely known. Onr thanks are due to the University of St. Andrew's for its share in the extension to women of a boon 80 long desired, and now so highly prized.
