Can we doubt that our gre8.t-grandchildren will look back on the horror which Members of Parliament now express at the idea of women voting, with feelings akin to those ·with .which we regard the horror of the Red Indian if a woman dares to lide on his horse! nay, even to bridle it-sure omen to him that misfortune is impending over some one belongiug to him.:
Surely these uncult1..red notions read like a parody on ourselves. Might they not help us, not exactly to see ourselves as others see us, but to see ourselves as it were, so to say, other than oW'selves!
