ABSTRACT
Many of the conflicts around the globe today in war zones such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria against Al-Qaeda and Islamic State, involve the use of UAS such as the General Atomics MQ-1 Predator (reconnaissance, combat), General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper (reconnaissance, air attack), the Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk (reconnaissance), Boeing Insitu, ScanEagle (reconnaissance) and the Israel Aerospace Industries Heron (reconnaissance).
