ABSTRACT

Whether technology is good, bad or ugly is in the eyes of the beholder. Teenagers think that computers are good as they automatically correct their spelling and grammar mistakes while they are doing their homework. Senior citizens think that computers are bad because children have now lost the art of penmanship. Our older generation would rather receive a hand-written letter than an e-mail, whereas most teenagers have probably never written a letter. Teenagers think that texts on their phone look good and understand the words without any problems, whereas our parents’ generation think that texts look ugly and cannot for the life of them make out the meaning.
