Roles of the Forensic Social Worker

This chapter will provide an overview of the roles relevant to a criminal defense-based forensic social worker. There are many different practice models of a forensic social worker. This chapter will focus on the “employee model” and the roles needed at the micro, mezzo and macro levels. These roles will be explored within case study examples.
