ABSTRACT

Now there are these sorts of things . . . Michael (Spock) calls them landmark experiences. You only have to have gone to the circus once in your life. Every other circus you go to is redundant. There are things you remember from your childhood as being single experiences, pivotal experiences, and that’s what the museum is about. You only have to have seen the dinosaur once. Every other time you see the dinosaur is a re confirmation of that first experience. I am very leery about the preand post-testing because I don’t think pre-and post-testing are about the

museum’s business. I think the museum’s business is banking, and single mythological experiences.
