ABSTRACT
This paper presents new work that bridges archaeological and ethnographic practice and describes the possibilities for fieldwork and, more importantly, for crafting a more engaged and ethical archaeology. In recent years, there has been a growing number of ethnographers analyzing archaeological practices, sites, and landscapes from various national, disciplinary, and political perspectives. This trend has been followed by hybrid methodological research in archaeology itself.
