ABSTRACT
To understand how a native Irish person might present Ireland’s heritage to a visiting public, I asked a driver-guide to design a week-long heritage tour of Ireland. He has been active in the tourism industry for nearly three decades and is highly regarded by colleagues, tour operators, and visitors alike. He is a badged tour guide, having received his national certi cation in 1989.
