ABSTRACT

Knowledge spillovers are an important way to encourage innovation, reconfigure strategies and enhance productivity. They also act as a source of entrepreneurship that allows firms to create strategies to enter new markets and exceed growth estimates. This chapter highlights future research suggestions that show how knowledge spillovers involve a variety of different types of knowledge, which are linked to strategic entrepreneurship activities. It also explains the role of knowledge spillovers in accumulating, converting and sharing information, enabling firms to build better strategies for international expansion.
