ABSTRACT
The subject of our contribution will be an analysis of the concept of general education in Poland dedicated to young people, ranging from the level of middle school education (gymnasium). For this purpose, we are going to outline contextual information about our country and the system of youth education in it. A key social problem in Poland is unemployment and this in turn has possibly led to low fertility rates and a diminishing population which has been exacerbated by migration.
