ABSTRACT
This chapter concludes the whole book by first providing a summary overview of all chapters and then addressing several important and emerging issues, including the development path of Chinese ODI, new challenges to theory and commercial practices, globalization and policy implications. It highlights China’s emerging driving forces such as big data and the Internet of things (IoT) and how these forces would shape the growth of the Chinese economy and overseas investment of Chinese companies. In the end, this chapter offers a research agenda for future research on Chinese ODI.
