ABSTRACT

In the last two decades, the city of Turin, Italy, has been deeply transformed by important infrastructural interventions, which involved the whole transport system of the urban and suburban area. This case study was used within the COST Action TU1002 to test the usability of Interactive Visualization Tool (InViTo) applied to evaluate the level of accessibility (to bus stops, underground and railway stations) produced by new mobility infrastructures. The tool provided positive feedback on supporting the collaboration and in creating opportunities for enabling the discussion. The chapter illustrates the evolution of the tool and the outcomes of the research.
