ABSTRACT
Sustainability has become a central concern for society. As software systems are major agents of change in our lives, software engineers and human-computer interaction designers have a responsibility to address sustainability in their designs. This chapter offers two tools to support this endeavor: a stakeholder reference model and a sustainability analysis. Both are illustrated using the example of a smart resilient garden system.
