ABSTRACT

Organika manufactures products belonging to the so-called pure-chemistiy industry, which means highly processed chemical products not requiring any further processing. Organika’s products are characterized by high quality, and they are well known on the market. The privatization process of Organika was started at the initiative of the current president of the management board. Until 1989, the company did not face any problems selling its products on the domestic market. The department analyzes the impact of pricing policy on the company’s market share and attempts to enlarge Organika’s market share by granting price discounts dependent upon the size of orders. Organika is the biggest supplier of brake fluids for the domestic market. The short period of time during which Organika Chemical Company has been operating as a private company does not allow for the formulation of any far-reaching conclusions with regard to its current performance and development prospects.
