ABSTRACT

A short reflection by artist Shinpei Takeda who has been working through the memories of Hiroshima and Nagasaki survivors for the last decade on his concept Antimonument, and which was also the title of his exhibition in Nagasaki Art Museum whose catalogue included the texts by Marcela Quiroz and Ryuta Imafuku. Takeda reflects on their texts and concludes that the urgency of the body both as material and vibration in facing memories of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings.
