ABSTRACT

This chapter summarizes findings from the International Association for Analytical Psychology evaluation of their international Router training program. Using a triangulation method of surveys, interviews, and a literature review, the major issues that emerged were the applicability of using Skype in both psychotherapy and supervision; help in the establishment of new societies; cross-cultural difficulties between trainers and trainees; the cultural trauma of certain trainee groups; and problems associated with shuttle analysis and the use of interpreters. Because there are common aspects most trainings need to address, the strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations highlighted in this evaluation make this chapter valuable to anyone involved in training.
