ABSTRACT
End of life care (EoLC) is support for people who are in the last months or years of their life. People who are approaching the end of their life are entitled to highquality care, wherever they are being cared for. End of life care includes but is not only, palliative care and terminal care. If a patient has an illness that cannot be cured, end of life care aims to make patients as comfortable as possible, by managing pain and other distressing symptoms.
