ABSTRACT
The aim of the chapter is to present some results and the theoretical assumptions underlying an ongoing empirical research project dealing with the moral values and political attitudes of the Polish people 1 . Included is a discussion of the main problem addressed in the study, basic hypotheses, and methods of the research and characteristics of the sample, as well as presentation of data collected in September 1984.
